Big machines going for big money in February – here’s Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers’ Top-5
Last month Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers helped customers all around the world buy and sell thousands of used equipment items and trucks.

1. 3 x 2018 Caterpillar D8T – US$1,620,000
We held our global auction in Orlando, FL last month, selling more than 13,500 equipment items and trucks for US$237+ million. The six-day sale set a new company record for attendees, registering a staggering 18,100 people from 85 countries. Among the items sold were three 2018 Caterpillar D8Ts (lots 2070-2072) that sold for US$540,000 each.
2. 2015 Link-Belt TCC1100 crawler crane – US$560,000
You’re going to hear a lot about Orlando on this list. This Link-Belt crane (lot 2957), which sold in Orlando, came in at number two with a US$560,000 price tag.
3. 2013 Terex Quadstar 1100 – US$380,000
Another sky-high price for lifting equipment sold in Orlando. This Terex Quadstar rough terrain crane (lot 2892) sold for US$380,000.
4. 2015 Caterpillar 623K motor scraper – US$325,000
Still in Orlando, this Cat motor scraper (lot 2989) sold for US$325,000.
5. 2010 Link-Belt rough terrain crane – US$320,000
Rounding out the list where we started – in Orlando – this 2010 Link-Belt rough terrain crane (lot 2890) sold for US$320,000
