Using Enhanced Search

When to use enhanced search
- Use enhanced search if you’re looking for something specific – for example, everything being sold in the next Los Angeles auction; or, a Caterpillar 777D being sold in Europe

Search through Current Inventory
- Search for items being sold in upcoming auctions under Current Inventory
- Look for the enhanced search options box

See everything being sold in one auction
- Your search can be as simple as you like
- For example, choose an auction from the dropdown menu and click Go to see every item in that auction:

Search for something specific
- Use the dropdown menus and type in the search fields to set your search criteria (you can leave some of them empty, if you like)
- To search for a specific lot in an upcoming auction, select the auction then type in the lot number
- Click Go to see the results of your search
- For example, find Caterpillar hydraulic excavators being sold anywhere in North America:

Review your search results
- Review the full list of items in your search results or click on an item description for more information
- You can also modify your search, compare items side-by-side, print your results and much more

Search auction results
- Create an account to access 24 months of Ritchie Bros. auction results – free!
- Go to Auction Results to find items sold in past auctions – with selling prices in your preferred currency
- Searching for items sold in past auctions in just like searching our current inventory; you can do a quick search, use enhanced search options or browse inventory
